Full Moon Reflecting on Radnor Lake

I could not get enough, so I returned to Radnor Lake at 6pm for another full scope 4.5-mile hike. I decided to let my hair down a little bit & get jiggy with it, so I did a counterclockwise hike.

On this evening’s hike I spotted eight deer.

As dusk neared, I saw a couple of little brown bats, which I later identified as the Little Brown Bat – one of about 15 species of bats that are native to Tennessee. These cuddly critters live on trees (sometimes hiding behind the bark), have a wing span of 10 inches, and weigh only a quarter ounce.

I stood on the spillway bridge and stared at the full moon for ten minutes.  It was very nice.
